JUDGMENT Rajbir Sehrawat, J. (Oral) - Present petition has been filed for seeking bail pending trial in FIR No.0080 dated 31.07.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act of 1914 registered at Police Station Hariana, District Hoshiarpur. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that although allegations in the FIR are regarding recovery of 246 boxes of liquor from the farm house. The petitioner is not the owner of the farm house. He is only working there as a labourer. It is further contended that petitioner is not involved in the crime at all. He is in custody since 31.07.2018. Investigation of the case qua the petitioner is complete. No purpose would be served by keeping him in custody. 3. Learned State counsel does not dispute this proposition. He submits that the main accused has not been arrested. 4. In view of the above, the petition is allowed. Petitioner is granted the concession of bail pending trial. He be released on bail pending trial subject to furnishing bail bonds/surety to the satisfaction of the Trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
