JUDGMENT : By virtue of order dated 23.05.2018, the respondents were directed to ensure installation of an inverter backup for operating the lift. Mr. Raman Sharma, learned Dy. AG, appearing on behalf of the respondents states that instead of inverter backup, the lift has been connected with the existing DG set, which will give adequate backup in case of power failure for operating the lift. However, an important aspect highlighted is that the lift is working without an Auto Rescue Device (ARD), which enables the lift in case of power failure to reach the next immediate floor and automatically opens the door, so that the occupants can make an exit. It is stated that the matter has already been taken up with the concerned for approval and release of funds and the needful shall be done within four weeks. 2. The second issue is the issue of regulating the parking of the vehicles in the parking areas as also the unauthorized parking of vehicles in the no-parking zones, which have been identified on a stretch of road, leading from the District Court Complex to the High Court 3. Insofar as, regulation of the parking in the parking areas is concerned, it is stated that the parking slots have been duly marked for parking vehicles, however, sometimes, the vehicles are being parked in such a way as the same choke the entry and exit points. It was suggested that apart from regulating the parking, it would be appropriate if an official from the Traffic Department be deputed in the parking areas regulating such a traffic. Ordered accordingly. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic shall also ensure that no vehicle should be parked in the no-parking zones on a stretch of road leading from District Court Complex to the High Court. 4.
