JUDGMENT Nirmaljit Kaur, J. (Oral) - Both these contempt petitions shall stand disposed of by this common order. 2. The present contempt petitions have been filed for noncompliance of the order dated 27.05.2016 and 21.03.2016 vide which a direction was issued to respondent No.1 to decide the case of the petitioners by passing a speaking order with respect to release of the land of the petitioners. 3. Compliance report by way of affidavit in both the cases have been filed. As per the compliance report, the respondents have passed a speaking order dated 11.07.2018, which is placed on record as Annexure R- 1. As per the said speaking order, respondents have passed the letter of intent and released the land of the petitioners subject to the conditions mentioned in para 2 of the said letter. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners states at bar that the needful has been done by the petitioners and in fact they have also deposited the amount of Rs. 92,74,757/- but the respondents have till date not passed the final order of releasing the land in question. 5. In view of the above, the present petitions are disposed of with a direction to the appropriate authority to release the land in question within two weeks from today. In case, the needful is not done, the present contempt petitions shall automatically revived and the appropriate authority shall come present on 11.02.2019 and the interest towards the amount deposited by the petitioners in compliance of the conditions in Annexure R-1, shall be borne by the concerned officer. 6. Accordingly, as soon as the release order is passed, the same be placed before this Court.
