JUDGMENT : The petitioner is a senior citizen. She wants to implement Exhibit P1 order. It appears that the Maintenance Tribunal directed the police to take action. In fact, the tribunal has to resort to the procedure as contemplated under Ss.125 to 128 of Chapter IX of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, for enforcement of the order of maintenance in the light of S.11 of Chapter II of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The tribunal shall take every steps in the light of the above provision without any delay. The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
