ORDER 1. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard finally. 2. The petitioner by the instant petition has assailed the order dated 23.4.2018 (Annexure-P-4) passed by respondent No. 3/Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat, Dindori, District Dindori whereby the services of the petitioner, who is Gram Rojgar Sahayak have been terminated. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the policy framed, the Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat is not competent authority to terminate the services of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the said policy clearly provides the competence to the Collector to terminate the services of Gram Rojgar Sahayak. 4. Looking to the provisions contained in the policy, it is clear that the order impugned is without jurisdiction, therefore, the same deserves to be set aside. 5. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Impugned order dated 23.4.2018 is set aside. However, the respondents are at liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings, if so required, against the petitioner and appropriate order be passed by the competent authority.
