JUDGMENT Pramath Patnaik, J. – In the accompanied writ application, the petitioners have inter alia prayed for direction upon the respondents to approve the posts, on which they are working since 1997 on regular basis, since the recommendation has been made by the respondent no.5 i.e. Executive Engineer, Drinking Water and Sanitation Division containing letter no.137 dated 15.02.2010 addressed to the respondent no.4 i.e. Superintending Engineer Drinking Water and Sanitation Department Ranchi Circle, Ranchi. 2. The grievance of the petitioners is that the services of the petitioners have not been approved and the petitioners are not getting the annual increments and other benefits notwithstanding the fact in pursuance to the order passed by this Court in C.W.J.C No.542 of 1996 (R), the petitioners have been appointed on Class-IV posts. 3. A Counter-affidavit has been filed by the respondents wherein it has been submitted that nine posts of Class-IV cadre are sanctioned posts and all the Class-IV employee of this division are being paid their admissible annual increment regularly as evident from Annexure-B to the said affidavit. 4. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondent-State, it appears that the grievance of the petitioners has already been redressed and therefore, nothing survives to be determined by this Court. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of being infructuous.
