JUDGMENT Mrs. Anita Chaudhry, J.:- The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 289 dated 31.10.2017 registered at Police Station Salhawas, District Jhajjar under Sections 354-A, 354-B, 452, 506 IPC. 2. Counsel for the petitioner contends that the allegations have been levelled under Section 354-A and 354-B IPC falsely as there was a dispute regarding money and a panchayat was held and thereafter the victim had given an affidavit that a compromise had been effected and that affidavit was handed over to the State counsel on the last date of hearing. The counsel further submits that such an incident could not have occurred that the petitioner would enter the house of the victim at night when her in-laws were present and the son was sleeping by her side and he would harass her. Counsel also states that the compromise which was effected is also signed by the husband of the victim. 3. State counsel submits that they had called the victim and she has made a statement in the presence of her husband admitting that a panchayat was held and she also admitted her signatures on the affidavit but had stated that the contents were not read over to her and the police had got her signatures on blank papers. 4. Copy of the statement made by the victim has been placed on record. 5. The petitioner is in custody since 1.11.2017. Challan has been presented. The victim has admitted her signatures on the affidavit which is attested by a Notary. 6. Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and considering the fact that the trial will take time to conclude, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing local surety and adequate bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
