JUDGMENT : Mahabir Singh Sindhu, J. The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for directing the official respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondent No.4. 2. This Court while issuing notice of motion on 30.01.2018, passed the following order:- “Notice of motion for 17.02.2018. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Vikas Malik, DAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3-State. Copy of paper book be supplied to learned State counsel during the course of the day. Learned State counsel is directed to inform the Court as to what action has been taken by the Registrar Co-operative Society, Haryana on the basis of petition filed by the petitioners in pursuance of the order dated 17.03.2016 (Annexure P-1).” 3. Reply by way of affidavit of Ram Kumar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, AEC Kaithal, District Kaithal has been filed on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3 in the Court today. The same is taken on record. Copy supplied to the opposite side. 4. Perusal of paragraph 2 of preliminary submissions reveals that in pursuance of the order of Division Bench of this Court passed on 17.03.2016 (Annexure P-1) a complaint dated 25.01.2017 was made by Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies, Kaithal and FIR No.22 dated 02.02.2017 under Sections 408, 420, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code was registered at Police Station Kaithal against 14 persons. 5. In Para 4 of preliminary submissions it is further submitted as under:- “That, the protection of the life and liberty of the petitioners is concerned, it is submitted that at present there is no apprehension of danger to the life and liberty of the petitioners. However, life and liberty of the petitioners shall be protected, in accordance with law.” 6. Learned State counsel has stated that the investigation in the above said FIR has already been completed and report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has been submitted and is fixed for framing of charges before learned trial Court. 7. In view of the above, no further directions are required to be issued in this case and is hereby dismissed. 8. It is made clear that respondents No.1 to 3 shall be bound by their stand taken in Paragraph 4 of the affidavit reproduced hereinabove.
