JUDGMENT Ajay Mohan Goel, J —By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs: "(i) That the respondent No.1 may kindly be directed by way of writ of mandamus to immediately take steps to mattel 4 Kms. road from Panthaghati to Baragaon. (ii) That the respondents No.2 & 3 may kindly be directed to immediately change the old pipes with new pipes and maintain the road." 2. When the case was taken up today, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.3 has apprised this Court that all remedial measures in order to make the road traffic worthy stand taken and the work is likely to be completed very shortly. Learned counsel has also assured the Court that the road in issue shall be properly maintained, so that situation like the one which stands highlighted by way of present writ petition can be avoided in future. 3. Taking into consideration the stand so taken by the respondent-Municipal Corporation and the assurance given by the learned counsel, we close this petition by taking the assurance on record. Petition stands disposed of accordingly, so also pending applications, if any.
