ORDER : 1. Permission to file Special Leave Petition is granted. 2. Heard Mr. R. Basant, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. S. Nandakumar, learned counsel appearing for Respondent No. 3. Since Respondent No. 3 is apparently a representative of the contesting respondents, we do not think it necessary to issue notice to the other respondents. 3. It is not necessary, in the nature of the order we propose to pass, to go into the details of the case. We direct the petitioner to deposit an amount of Rs. 50,00,000/-(Rupees Fifty Lakhs) before the High Court of Judicature at Madras within a period of three weeks from today. On such deposit, Direction No. (iii) at paragraph 6 of the impugned order dated 27.04.2018 shall stand vacated. 4. In view of the above order, there shall be stay of all other directions at paragraph 6, including the registration of the criminal case and suspension of practice etc. 5. We make it clear that in case any similarly situated victims approach the High Court, the petitioner shall deposit the amount at the rate of Rs. 1,00,000/-(Rupees One Lakh) each in the case of such people. However, we also make it clear that in case only 25 people claim the amounts of refund at the rate of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh), the balance shall be disbursed to the petitioner, after three months. 6. Subject to the above directions, this Special Leave Petition is disposed of. 7. Pending Interlocutory Applications, if any, stand disposed of.
