JUDGMENT : Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. 2. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following relief: “That for issuance of a writ in nature of Mandamus for direction to Respondents /commanding the Respondents for payment of retirement’s benefits dues and initiation of pension in favour of petitioner after superannuation from his service on the post of Head constable of Bihar Police, contained in Annexure-1.” 3. Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no. 2, stating that all retiral benefits have been paid earlier including provisional pension and even final pension has been sanctioned and letter sent to the Treasury Officer, Gaya on 05.12.1996, for payment of full pension. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has also received a communication asking him to complete certain formalities, which he shall comply with. 5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondent no. 4 to ensure that upon the petitioner competing the formalities, the entire dues of arrears of full pension is paid to him expeditiously and latest within four weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order before him.
