ORDER : Heard counsels for the parties. 2. The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 20.06.2006, whereby request for reference to the Industrial Tribunal has been refused. 3. From the pleading, it appears that a permanent employee aged about 35 years worker has died on 11.10.1990, leaving behind his only son Krishna Dhobi who was adolescent at that time. The Union has taken up the issue and the industrial dispute has been raised. 4. Ultimately, the request of the Union to refer the matter to the Industrial Tribunal has been refused vide order dated 17.12.2009 treating it as a stale matter. 5. Admittedly, the death is of the 1990. Now we are in 2019. There is lapse of 29 years. It is settled principle of law that delay defeats compassion. 6. In view of above submission, the present writ petition is, hereby, dismissed.
