JUDGMENT 1. Issue notice. Mr. K.K. Bissa, learned Additional Govt. Counsel accepts notices on behalf of respondents. Service is, therefore, complete. 2. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is finally heard at this stage. 3. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking suitable pay (at the lowest grade in the regular pay-scale) and allowances, which are extended to regular employees of the respondent-Department on the principle of equal pay for equal work. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue raised in the present writ petition is squarely covered by order of this Court in Sahi Ram & Ors. v. State of Rajasthan & Ors. : SBCW No. 15746/2017, decided on 02.02.2018, wherein a coordinate Bench of this Court noticing the judgment of Honble Supreme Court in State of Punjab & Ors. v. Jagjit Singh & Ors.: (2017) 1 SCC 148 , disposed of the writ petition with the direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner in light of law laid down by Honble Supreme Court in the case of Jagjit Singh (supra). 5. Learned counsel for the respondents does not dispute the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 6. In view of the submissions made, the writ petition filed by the petitioner is disposed of in light of judgment in the case of Sahi Ram (supra) and the respondents are directed to consider the representation/s of the petitioner in light of the judgment in the case of Sahi Ram (supra).
