ORDER 1. On the joint prayer made by the learned counsel for the parties, pursuant to Order dated 28-8-2018, we directed the parties to appear before the Supreme Court Mediation Centre on 8 th September, 2018 at 11.30 a.m. 2. As per Mediation Report dated 1st November, 2018, the parties could not arrive at an amicable settlement and hence the mediation failed. 3. This petition under Section 25 of the Civil Procedure Code, 1908 read with Order XLI of the Supreme Court Rules, 2013 has been filed by the petitioner (wife) for transfer of Divorce Petition bearing Matrimonial Case No.02 of 2018 titled as Dr. Priyankar Singh vs. Dr. Kalpana Singh pending before the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna to a Court of competent jurisdiction at Jaipur, Rajasthan. 4. After having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and taking into consideration the grounds taken in the transfer petition, we direct transfer of Divorce Petition bearing Matrimonial Case No.02 of 2018 titled as Dr. Priyankar Singh vs. Dr. Kalpana Singh pending before the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna to a Court of competent jurisdiction at Jaipur, Rajasthan. 5. Let the record of the case be transferred without delay. 6. We direct the concerned Trial court to expedite the trial and dispose of the matter within a time-bound manner. 7. The Transfer Petition is allowed in the afore-stated terms.
