JUDGMENT : 1. Heard learned counsel for the Parties. 2. The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for quashing the illegal selection of the respondent no. 6 on the post of Anganbari Sewika for the anganbari centre Jerka Kaduabhitha vide meeting dated 3.9.2009 ignoring the earlier selection of the petitioner on the said post vide meeting dated 25.8.2009 and for a further direction upon the respondents to consider appointment of the petitioner on the said post pursuant to her selection vide meeting dated 25.8.2009. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in a meeting held on 25.8.2009 by the Gram Sabha being a Selection Committee under Chairmanship of the respondent no.4, the candidature of the petitioner, having highest qualification amongst all the eligible candidates including respondent no.6 was considered for the purpose of appointment of on the post of Anganbari Sewika for angnbari entre Jerka Kduabitha and she w s selected as such. He further submits that ignoring the earlier meeting of the Gram Sabha, a fresh meeting was purported to be held on 3.9.2009 under the Chairmanship of the respondent no.5 wherein the sole candidate the respondent no. 6, having lesser qualification than that of the petitioner, was considered for the purpose of appointment on the said post of Anganbari Sewika for the aanaganbari centre Jerka Kaduabhitha and she was selected as such and most of the members in the meeting are close relatives of the respondent no. 6. It is further stated that the petitioner was not provided with any show cause notice before ignoring her selection in the earlier meeting of the selection committee dated 25.8.2009 and arrange fresh meeting. 4. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, this court is not inclined to entertain this writ petitioner as there is an alternative remedy before the petitioner by way of filing an appeal before the competent authority. The petitioner, if so advised, may avail the said opportunity 5. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
