JUDGMENT Mr. Gurvinder Singh Gill, J. (Oral).:- The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of regular bail in case registered vide FIR No.149, dated 7.8.2018, registered at Police Station Ismailabad, District Kurukshetra, under Section 15 of NDPS Act. 2. The allegation, in nutshell, are that the petitioner was found in possession of 6.5 kgs of ‘Poppy Husk’. 3. Learned State counsel has informed that challan has already been presented on 3.10.2018 and till date only 2 PWs out of the cited 15 PWs have been examined. 4. Having regard to the nature and quantity of the contraband recovered and the fact that the challan has already been presented, in my opinion, no useful purpose would be served by further detaining the petitioner behind bars. The petition, as such, is accepted and petitioner-Anil Kumar alias Neelu is ordered to be released on regular bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, concerned. 5. This petition stands accepted accordingly.
