JUDGMENT : SHEKHER DHAWAN, J. 1. Present petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is for grant of anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No. 57 dated 22.02.2019 under Sections 406, 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 read with Section 120-B IPC registered at Police Station - Sohana, District Mohali. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the above said FIR, whereas she is not signatory to any document which has been allegedly forged. The petitioner had not received any payment out of this transaction and she is ready to join the investigation. 3. Learned State counsel as well as learned counsel for the complainant have opposed the bail application on the ground that the matter relates to forgery of document on the basis of fake Power of Attorney and receipt of amount. Out of the total sale consideration of Rs. 5.00 lakhs, a sum of Rs. 1.00 lakh was deposited in the account of son of the petitioner, namely, Amar Singh. The power of attorney dated 3.10.2010 of Didar Singh was also allegedly got executed by Kulwinder Kaur, present petitioner in favour of Ramender Kumar and the petitioner as well as her son and other co-accused are involved in the offence and the matter requires intensive investigation. 4. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and above facts, that it is matter of forgery of document on the basis of conspiracy and the matter is still at investigation stage and for that purpose custodial investigation of the petitioner would be required. No case is made out for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5. The present petition stands dismissed.
