JUDGMENT : Ajai Lamba, J. Petitioner-Mustt. Nurenesa Khatun seeks bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in Kachua P.S. GDE/No.428 dated 23.10.2019 registered under Section 21(c) of NDPS Act. 2. I have gone through the contents of the FIR at issue. As per the contents of the FIR, information was received in the police station that illegal drugs/cough syrup bottles were collected from unknown source by the petitioner and stocked at her house. Consequently, a raid was conducted and a large quantity of cough syrup containing Codeine and other objectionable materials were recovered from the house of the petitioner. 3. While the learned counsel for the petitioner admits that the quantity of the materials recovered would be commercial, however, it has been pleaded that the petitioner is an illiterate and did not know the consequence of these actions. 4. I have considered the contention of the learned counsel. Considering the heavy recovery, viz. of 7 cartons with 19 bottles each of Codeine Phosphate and 24 cartons with 30 bottles each of Codeine Phosphate, totaling 2430 numbers of bottles, no ground for indulgence is made out. 5. Dismissed.
