JUDGMENT : 1. Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi District, Meghalaya has filed an affidavit along with the proceedings of public hearing held on 23.04.2019 for the proposed LPG storage of 3x150 MT MSV and bottling capacity of 30000 MTPA at Umiam, Ri Bhoi District by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. 2. In the proceedings, it is recorded that in the environmental public hearing conducted, all the objectives of hearing were explained and suggestions from all stakeholders were received as made mention of in details in the proceedings itself. The proceedings of hearing are stated to be sent to the Ministry of Environment Forests and Climate Change, New Delhi for necessary action. Member Secretary, Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board objection regarding public hearing has been taken care of. 3. Now, further steps are required to be taken by other respondents so as to ensure that the state of art LPG bottling plant within old OICL depot land at Umiam for better availability of LPG cylinders in the State of Meghalaya is set up preferably within a period of two months. 4. Copy of this order as well as the order dated 05.04.2019 be sent to all the respondents and also to all other concerned authorities for ensuring compliance and to file status of finalization regarding setting up of LPG bottling plant and supply of LPG cylinders therefrom. 5. List of all authorities concerned be furnished to the Registry within two weeks so as to enable the Registry to send the copy of this order to them. 6. List again after two months.
