A letter has been circulated on behalf of the Union of India and a prayer has been made by the learned Attorney General for India that time be granted to the Union of India to file reply on merits. 2. We fix the matter for further consideration on 06.05.2019. Reply affidavit, if any, by the contesting parties may be brought on record on or before 04.05.2019. 3. After an extensive hearing Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, learned senior counsel for the respondent, seeks liberty to file an additional affidavit. While we observe that it will be open for the respondent to file the additional affidavit if he so desires, we make it clear that the admissibility and acceptance of any affidavit, if filed, will be considered on the next date fixed i.e. 10.05.2019.
