JUDGMENT 1. The instant criminal misc. petition under Section 482 Cr.P.c. has been filed for quashing of FIR No. 213/2018 PS Sri Vijaynagar, District Sri Ganganagar for offences under Sections 323, 341, 325, 308, 34, 120B/109 & 143 IPC. 2. Counsel for the petitioners submits that the matter has already been compromised between the parties and it is borne out from the compromise that the respondents-complainants are not inclined to proceed further in the matter. Counsel has placed reliance on a decision of Supreme Court in the case of Gian Singh v. State of Punjab & Anr. [ (2012) 10 SCC 303 ] . In these circumstances, the impugned FIR lodged by the respondents-complainants against the petitioners may be quashed. 3. Counsel for the respondents-complainants concurs the fact of compromise and submits that in view of the compromise, the respondents-complainants do not want to proceed further in the matter. 4. Learned Public Prosecutor has submitted a report dated 05.05.019 received from S.H.O., PS Sri Vijaynagar, District Sri Ganganagar wherein it has been mentioned that the matter has been compromised between the parties. 5. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the report dated 05.05.2019. 6. In view of compromise arrived at between the parties and applying the ratio in decision of Gian Singh (Supra), I deem it just and proper to invoke inherent powers of this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. 7. Accordingly, the present misc. petition is allowed and the FIR No. 213/2018 PS Sri Vijaynagar, District Sri Ganganagar for offences under Sections 323, 341, 325, 308, 34, 120B/109 & 143 IPC against the petitioners is hereby quashed on the basis of compromise arrived between the parties.
