JUDGMENT Jyotsna Rewal Dua, J. - The grievance of the petitioners in these petitions is against Annexure P-1, whereby the Municipal Corporation, Shimla had informed the labourers residing in Labour Hostel, Challet Day (Marina) about their police verification and the fact that rent amounting to 590/- per month or 7,080/- per annum is due from them. Rooms occupied by labourers were to be locked in case of failure to deposit due and admissible rent and police verification by 1st November, 2019. This date has passed. 2. Learned senior counsel for the petitioners submits that he would feel satisfied and content in case impugned Annexure P-1 is directed to be treated as notice to the petitioners and thereafter, they be permitted to file representations to respondent No. 2 in respect of such notice with a direction to respondent No. 2 to decide such representations within a stipulated period. 3. Accordingly, we permit the petitioners to submit representation(s) against Annexure P-1 within a period of two weeks from today and respondent No. 2 is directed to take a decision thereupon, in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks thereafter. Till then, the respondents are directed not to take any coercive action against the petitioners. 4. Both the writ petitions are accordingly disposed of, so also the pending miscellaneous applications, if any. Copy dasti.
