ORDER : 1. The corpus Mst. Urmila has been produced before us from the Nari Niketan, Jodhpur. We conferred with her in Chambers. She stated that she was kept in a very happy atmosphere at the Nari Niketan without any kind of duress and influence. She stated that she is a Govt. teacher and presently posted at Meerpura Bhinmal, District Jalore. The living conditions in the home were satisfactory as per her statement. She stated that she is ready and willing to go with the present petitioner to whom she married of her own free will and volition. However, she expressed an apprehension that if she goes with the petitioner people from the community may put pressure on her parents and impose sanctions on them. She thus prays that an appropriate direction may be given to the police authorities to prevent such a consequence. 2. The girl is an educated major and serving as a Teacher with the State Government. She is fully aware of the consequences of her action as she has expressed a free desire to go and live with the petitioner with whom she is legally married. We see no hindrance in setting her free to proceed as per her desire. 3. Thus, we hereby direct that Mst. Urmila shall forthwith be released from Nari Niketan, Jodhpur and will be assisted to go with the present petitioner. Till the corpus reaches the matrimonial home, police officials shall provide appropriate security to her and the petitioner. In case, any untoward pressure is put upon the parents of the girl by the members of the society, then they shall be at liberty to approach the police official concerned and we expect that appropriate steps shall be taken to prevent such consequences. 4. With the above directions, the Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of. Rule is discharged.
