JUDGMENT Sujit Narayan Prasad, J. - The matter pertains to payment of compensation in lieu of the acquisition of land to which the petitioner is claiming having valid title over it bearing Plot No-1344, under Khata No-142, Mouza-Barki Sariya, Thana No-44, area-18 decimal, District-Giridih, which has been issued in the year 1942 as per the statement in the I.A. No.301 of 2019, wherein correction has been sought for, as has been made in the writ petition referring therein the year of Hukumnama as 1999 which according to the petitioner is on the basis of Hindi Samvat. 2. The grievance of the petitioner that the land has been acquired in the year 1999 but compensation has not been extended in his favour hence this writ petition. 3. Learned counsel for the State-respondent on instruction submits that there is no difficulty in making payment in favour of the petitioner, subject to the verification of his title which has not been produced before the competent authority. He further submits that an appropriate direction may be given to the petitioner to appear before the Land Acquisition Officer, Giridih alongwith valid document in support of his title then the aforesaid authority will take it into consideration by passing a reasonable period. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and upon their consent, without entering into the merit of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to approach before the Land Acquisition Officer, Giridih, respondent no.3 within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order alongwith all valid documents pertaining to the plot in question. 5. The concerned respondent shall examine it from the original record of acquisition case, and if it is found that the petitioner is having perfect title over the land in, the necessary decision shall be taken in accordance with law within period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. 7. As the main writ application is disposed of, consequently, I.A. No. 301 of 2018 also stands disposed of.
