JUDGMENT Mr. Ajay Tewari, J. (Oral) - This petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.31 dated 05.06.2018 registered under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 and Section 22 of the NDPS Act at P.S. Balianwali, District Bathinda. 2. Custody certificate filed in Court by way of affidavit of Sukhwinder Singh, PPS, Superintendent Jain, Bathinda is taken on record. 3. As per the allegations, the police had come to know that the police had raided the house of the petitioner and at that time the son of the petitioner escaped after throwing the packet which contained 1180 intoxicant tablets and from the house of the petitioner 15 gms of Heroine and 150 liters of Lahan was also recovered. 4. As per the custody certificate, the petitioner has undergone 07 months and 08 days and also corroborates the fact that no other case is pending against him. 5. Keeping in view the entire conspectus of facts and the period of incarceration already suffered by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, I deem it appropriate to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Ordered accordingly. Bail to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate. Petition stands allowed. 6. Since the main case has been decided, the pending criminal miscellaneous application, if any, also stands disposed of.
