ORDER : SLP (C) No.34251/2017 1. At the request of the appellant, list for hearing on 01.10.2019 at 10:30 a.m. It is made clear that no further adjournment will be granted. SMW(Crl.) No(s).1/2019- In relation to the Trial 2. Report of CBI in R.C No.12 of 2019 indicates that otherwise investigation is complete but the statement of Mahender Singh, Advocate, who was driving the vehicle at the relevant time, could not be recorded since he is still not in a position to make a statement. Therefore, as prayed, two weeks further time is granted. 3. One week's time is granted to file the chargesheet in R.C.11 of 2018. We, however, direct the Court concerned not to record the statement of the investigating officer, in R.C No.8 of 2018, till the chargesheet is filed in R.C.11 of 2018 and, therefore, time for deciding the R.C.8 of 2018 shall stand extended accordingly. 4. We have also perused the report of the Trial Court wherein the learned Trial Judge has requested for further extension of time. We are satisfied with the reason given in the report and extend the time as prayed for. I.A. No.143390 of 2019, I.A. No.146230 of 2019 5. The applicant/Devendra Singh has prayed that though protection has been granted by this Court to him by providing security by C.R.P.F., the officers deputed are unclear whether they have to accompany the applicant when he comes to Delhi or not. We clarify that whenever the applicant has to travel to Delhi or Lucknow, security has to be provided to him. Status of POCSO Courts 6. State of Rajasthan has filed an affidavit to the effect that as far as the State of Rajasthan is concerned it has designated exclusive POCSO Courts in each and every district in the State. We place on record our appreciation for the State of Rajasthan for taking this step even before orders were passed by this Court. We hope that the other States will also follow suit. 7. A report has been filed by Mr. S.S. Rathi, Registrar, Supreme Court of India, in respect of various directions. This report shall be taken up on 01.10.2019.
