ORDER : Shri Vijaya Simha Reddy D.V., learned advocate for the petitioner and Shri Ramesh Jois M.V., learned AGA for the State jointly submitted that issue involved in this petition is covered by directions contained in paragraphs No.9 and 10 of the decision of this Court in Prakash Sankappa Sanna Pujar and others Vs. The State of Karnataka and others (Writ Petitions No.111974-111978/2019 & 112020-112035/2019 disposed of on 24th September 2019). 2. Their submission is placed on record. 3. In W.P.Nos.111974-978/2019 & 112020-112035/2019, it is recorded as follows: “9. Accordingly, taking note of a Government Order at Annexure-H and the communication at Annexure-R, the present petition is disposed off, directing respondent No.3 to take note of Annexure-H, J & R and to take an appropriate decision regarding continuance of the petitioners till the vacant posts are filled up. Such decision must be taken in the light of the observations made above and taking note of the contents of Annexures-H, J & R. Such decision to be taken within a period of one month from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. 10. Counsel for the petitioner contends that, pending consideration of their request, as ordered above, the respondent No.3 must be directed not to make any adhoc arrangements. Needless to state that, unless the vacant posts are filled up in accordance with the applicable procedure and rules, question of filling up of the posts by way of adhoc arrangements excluding the petitioners is not to be resorted to.” 4. This petition is disposed of with above directions. No costs.
