ORDER 1. Heard Ms. Pinky Anand, learned Additional Solicitor General and the respondent No.1- in person. We have perused the application. We accede to the request of the applicants to grant six months- further time for closure of the Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Marg at East Kidwai Nagar Redevelopment Project from 31 st December, 2018 to 30 th June, 2019, as a last opportunity. 2. We place on record the submission made on behalf of the applicants that the progress of the work is at an advanced stage and the public road may be opened within four months from now. But to be on the safer side, the extension is sought till 30 th June, 2019. 3. The respondent no.1 would submit that the petitioners/applicants are carrying on unauthorised construction on the site. That, however, is not the issue for consideration in this application. It is open to the respondent no.1 to pursue appropriate remedy in this behalf, if so advised. All contentions available to the parties in that regard are left open. 4. We place on record rebuttal submissions made by the learned Additional Solicitor General that the construction on the site is as per the sanctioned plan/lay out. We do not wish to examine this aspect any further in the present application. 5. Application stands disposed of accordingly.
