JUDGMENT : ANIRUDDHA BOSE, J. 1. The writ petitioner in this proceeding essentially complains about the improper disclosure of assets and liabilities in the affidavit filed by the respondent no. 5 in respect of his nomination for the post of Mayor of Adityapur Municipal Corporation. Service upon the respondent no. 5 is yet to be effected. 2. Mr. Rajeev Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, fairly submits that a public interest litigation by invoking jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India would not be proper forum for redressal of his client’s grievance and he wants to prosecute the matter in appropriate legal forum. 3. In view of the submission made hereinabove, we do not consider it necessary to direct service of notice upon respondent no. 5 and other respondents. The writ petition shall stand disposed of on recording the submission of Mr. Kumar.
