JUDGMENT : Shekher Dhawan, J. Present petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is for grant of regular bail in case bearing FIR No. 203 dated 14.06.2018 under Sections 392,365,170,419,420 and 34 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act,1959 registered at Police Station Division No. 5, Police Commissionerate Ludhiana, District Ludhiana. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that petitioner, Baljeet Singh alias Tikka is in custody since 19.06.2018, whereas petitioner, Ranjeet Singh is behind the bars since 16.07.2018 in this case. The offences are triable by the Court of learned Magistrate. Trial of this case still to take some more time so, no purpose would be served by keeping the petitioners behind the bars and the petitioners be released on bail. 3. Learned State counsel has opposed the bail applications of the petitioners on the ground that there are serious allegations against the petitioners. 4. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and the fact that the petitioners are in custody since July,2018 in this case; trial of this case still to take some more time, no purpose would be served by keeping the petitioner behind the bars. 9. Resultantly, the present petitions, bearing Nos. CRM-M-11694- 2019 and CRM-M-21715-2019 stand allowed and petitioners namely, Baljeet Singh alias Tikka and Ranjeet Singh are ordered to be released on regular bail subject to their furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned.
