ORDER : P.D. AUDIKESAVALU, J. 1. The grievance of the Petitioner in this Public Interest Litigation is that the buses of the Transport Corporations operated by the Respondents on the route in the Thoothukudi – Tiruchendur Main Road, do not halt at the Palayakayal Bus Stop, Eral Taluk, Thoothukudi District and his representation dated 08.11.2018 has been in vain. 2. We have heard Mr. M. Mohan Gandhi, Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner, Mr. N. Shanmuga Selvam, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the First Respondent, Mr. D. Sivaraman, Learned Counsel appearing for the Third Respondent, Mr. K. Sathiya Singh, Learned Counsel appearing for the Second, Fourth and Fifth Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 3. The Learned Counsel for the Respondents, on instructions submitted that the bus drivers and conductors of the respective Transport Corporations have been strictly instructed to ensure that the buses plying in the Thoothukudi – Tiruchendur route, halt in the said bus stop and that they have been warned that disciplinary action would taken against them for failure to do so. The Second Respondent, who operates largest number of buses in that route, has confirmed that statement in its Counter Affidavit dated 28.01.2019 filed in that regard. 4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
