A.S.BOPANNA, SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI

body2019
JUDGMENT : A. S. BOPANNA, J. 1. Heard Ms. B. Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. J. Abedin, learned for Respondent No.1, Mr. A. Deka, learned counsel for Respondent No.2 and Mr. S. P. Bhattacharjee, learned counsel for Respondent No.3. 2. The instant complaint is filed by the complainant alleging that the direction issued by this Court on 8.11.2017 in Review Petition No.143/2017 has not been complied. As per direction issued therein, the request of the complainant to apply for B.Ed. deputation is to be formally considered by the respondents. 3. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents has brought to our notice the communication dated 11.01.2019 by which the complainant has been informed of the decision of the respondents permitting the complainant to apply for B.Ed. deputation. The said position is not in dispute. 4. In that view, the direction to that extent has been complied, though the respondents have not adhered to the time frame indicated in the order. 5. Learned Standing Counsel would submit that the delay is not intentional but was due to the procedure that was required to be followed and, in that view, the decision as taken at present be accepted as sufficient compliance. 6. In that view, since the order has been substantially complied, we see no reason to proceed further in the matter. Accordingly, the complaint stands disposed of.
