JUDGMENT B.R. Sarangi, J. - Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The petitioner has filed this application seeking direction to the opposite parties to take steps for regularizing the services of the petitioner as sweeper-cum-peon in the office of opposite party no.2, i.e. Bank of Baroda, Manisahu Chhak Branch, Cuttack. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is continuing as sweeper-cum-peon on daily wage basis under the opposite parties and he seeks for regularization of service in view of judgments passed by the apex Court in Secretary State of Karnataka and Others vs. Umadevi (3) and Others, (2006) 4 SCC 1 and State of Karnataka and others vs. M.L. Keshan and others, (2010) 2 OLR (SC) 982 and the Tripartite Settlement dated 18.03.2008 under Section 12(3) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, which was issued on 24.03.2008. 4. Considering the contentions raised by the learned counsel for the parties, this Court disposes of this writ petition directing the opposite parties to consider the case of the petitioner for regularization of his services, if he has rendered at least ten years of service on daily wage basis, keeping in view of the judgments of the apex Court rendered in Umadevi (3) (supra) and M.L. Keshari (supra) and Tripartite Settlement dated 18.03.2008 within a period of four months and grant consequential service benefits as due admissible to him in accordance with law. 5. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
