JUDGMENT Shree Chandrashekhar, J. - The petitioner seeks quashing of the entire criminal proceeding arising out of Ichak P.S. Case No.257 of 2014 corresponding to G.R. No.3558 of 2014 registered for the offences under sections 341, 323, 366, 376, 313, 379, 120B, 504 and 34 IPC. 2. One of the contentions raised on behalf of the petitioner is that the complainant has herself stated that sexual relationship with the petitioner was consensual and she is ready to withdraw this case. 3. Mr. Vijayant Verma, AC to GP-II submits that the matter is still under investigation and therefore no interference is warranted by this Court at this stage. 4. After arguing for some time, Mr. Awnish Shankar, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition at this stage, with liberty to the petitioner to raise all such plea which are available to him in law, at the appropriate stage. 5. In view of the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner, without observing on the merits of the matter, W.P. (Cr.) No.357 of 2018 is dismissed as withdrawn, however, with liberty to the petitioner as prayed for.
