ORDER 1. Having perused the record and the findings of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, we are in agreement with the finding that the appellant was not a "consumer" within the meaning of Section 2(1)(d) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. The proposed industrial unit was intended to be set up for a commercial purpose. 2. Hence, there is no merit in the appeal. 3. The appeal is, accordingly, dismissed. This will, however, not preclude the appellant from pursuing such alternate remedies as are available in law. No costs.
