JUDGMENT Civil Misc. Application No. 01/18:- 1. For the reasons stated in the application delay in filing the appeal is condoned. 2. The application is allowed. Civil Misc. Appeal No. 2880/2018:- 1. Vide impugned judgment dated 13.03.2018 the respondent has been granted monthly maintenance under Section 24 in sum of Rs. 7,500/-. Rs. 300/- for every court hearing has been awarded. One time Litigation expenses in sum of Rs. 5,000/- has been awarded. 2. The impugned order notes that the appellant is working as a Supervisor in STSTB Department and as per the wife he earns Rs. 25,000/- per month. The impugned order notes that the wife works as a Gram Sahayak. Her income as a Gram Sahayak has not been noted in the impugned order, but take the same to be Rs. 6,000/- per month as stated by the appellant. 3. The appellant denied that he is receiving Rs. 25,000/- per month salary as a Supervisor but has withheld his monthly pay slip as a Supervisor. 4. The appellant would be earning Rs. 25,000/- per month. The impugned order notes the fact that the appellant owns a house allotted by the housing board. 5. The respondent is maintaining a son born to the parties. Considering the appellants income to be Rs. 25,000/- per month and respondents income to be Rs. 6,000/- per month, awarding Rs. 7,500/- per month to the respondent as maintenance cannot be faulted keeping in view that she is maintaining a minor son as well. 6. The appeal is dismissed.
