JUDGMENT : Biswajit Mohanty, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. Tripathy learned Addl. Advocate. 2. According to learned counsel for the petitioner, the grievance of the petitioner in this case relates to non-registration of his complaint dated 30.11.2017 under Annexure-1 as F.I.R. by the I.I.C., Bhasma Police station, Sundargarh (Opp. party No. 3) though the same reveals commission of cognizable offences. He further submits that though against such in action, he has approached the superintendent of police, Sundargarh (Opp. party No. 2) on 13.12.2017 vide Annexure-2 through registered post, however, till date nothing has been done, in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the Superintendent of police, Sundargarh (Opp. party No. 2) to take a decision on the grievance petition of the petitioner under Annexure-2 within a specific time period. 3. Considering the submissions, made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this court directs the Superintendent of Police, Sundargarh (opp. party No. 2) to take a decision on the grievance petition dated 13.12.2017 of the petitioner under Annexure-2 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified of this order keeping in mind the decision of the Supreme Court-as rendered in Lalita Kumari vs. State of U.P. reported in A.I.R. 2014 S.C. 187. The petitioner be intimated about the result of such existence. 4. The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of. 5. Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
