Having regard to the long efflux of time and the nature of the allegations made, we are of the considered view that the order that would be appropriate to be passed would be to keep the question of law open to be decided in an appropriate case and to quash the proceedings against the appellant. We order accordingly. 4. The appeal is disposed of in the above terms.
