ORDER 1. This is an application under section 438 CrPC seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No.164/2018 registered at Police Station -Manasa, district - Neemuch for the offence punishable under section 8/15 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 2. The ground for impleading the petitioner is that he is the vehicle owner in which 839 k.g. poppy straw was being carried by driver and the other persons present in the vehicle. 3. Contention of the petitioner is that the driver was transporting the same without his knowledge, permission or consent. 4. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application. 5. Considering the ground for impleading the present petitioner and the evidence collected during investigation, the application is allowed. It is directed that in the event of arrest of the petitioner or his surrender before the Investigating Officer or before the concerned Judicial Magistrate within 30 days from today in connection with theaforesaid crime number, he shall be released on bail upon his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rs. Two Lacs) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting officer. This order shall be governed by the conditions No.1 to 3 of sub section (2) of section 438 CrPC.
