JUDGMENT B.B. Mangalmurti, J. - Admit. 2. Call for the Lower Court Records. 3. List this case under the heading "For Hearing" as per seriatim. I.A. No. 1465 of 2019 4. Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned counsel for the A.C.B. 5. Learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the appellant has been convicted by judgment dated 17th January, 2019 held guilty under Section 7 and Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. He further submitted that appellant has been sentenced two years rigorous imprisonment with fine of Rs. 10,000/- for the offence under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act and two years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs. 10,000/- for committing the offence punishable under Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. He further submitted that the Court below has granted provisional bail to this appellant by terms of order dated 19.01.2019 for thirty days which is going to expire on 18.02.2019. He prayed for confirmation of the provisional bail granted to the appellant by the Court below. 6. Also heard learned counsel for the A.C.B. 7. The provisional bail granted to the appellant by the Court below on 19.01.2019, is hereby, confirmed subject to deposit of fine amount imposed upon appellant without being prejudiced to his right. The fine amount must be deposited within one month from today. In case, fine amount is not deposited within one month from today then Appellant shall surrender before the court below after one month for serving out the sentence imposed upon him. 8. Thus, I.A. No.1465 of 2019 stands allowed. 9. Let a copy of this order be communicated through FAX to the court concerned at the cost deposited by the appellant.
