ORDER 1. The petitioner has preferred this transfer petition under Article 139A of the Constitution of India seeking transfer of the case being Public Interest Litigation (PIL) No. 4244 of 2018 titled as "Sunita Sharma Advocate High Court Allahabad and Anr. vs. Union of India & Ors." filed by the respondents herein in the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad challenging the validity of Section 18A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2018. 2. It is a matter of record that a number of writ petitions challenging the validity of the aforesaid provision are pending in this Court including Writ Petition (C) No. 1015 of 2018. 3. Accordingly, we allow the prayer made in this transfer petition and transfer the aforesaid proceedings to this Court and tag with Writ Petition (C) No. 1015 of 2018 and other connected matters. 4. We are conscious of the fact that this is an ex - parte Order without notice to the respondents. However, since on the same ground this Court has also transferred another petition being Transfer Petition (C) No. 2170 of 2018 titled as "Union of India & Anr. vs. Sanpreet Singh Ajmani', we thought it appropriate not to issue notice. However, if the respondents have any grievance, they shall be at liberty to approach this Court. 5. The Transfer petition is, accordingly, allowed.
