JUDGMENT : 1. Affidavit as filed by respondent No.2 on 22.02.2019 reveals that the officials of Public Health Engineering Department and Shillong Municipal Board have assessed the water supply scenario in Harisabha-Lumkartik area of Laban, a futuristic plan has been prepared at revised estimate of Rs.23,23,240/-. It is further stated that the work is in full swing 80% of the work have been completed. 2. Learned Amicus Curiae to file his response. 3. Another affidavit has been filed by Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board, Shillong wherein it is stated that water quality of the treated water with regard pH was maintained. It conforms to the acceptable limit for drinking water standard. Oil and grease in the water samples could not be detected. 4. Learned Amicus Curiae to file his response to this affidavit also. 5. The Chief Engineer, PHE has not filed his requisite his latest status report be filed within two weeks. 6. List again after two weeks.
