JUDGMENT Sujit Narayan Prasad, J. - This writ petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India wherein direction has been sought for quashing the appointment of Respondent Nos. 5 to 10 and to consider the appointment of the petitioner under the rehabilitation and settlement policy, acquisition of the land, which belongs to the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is alternative remedy under Section 14(2) of the Coal-Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 before the Tribunal, therefore, he has sought for permission to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach before the alternative forum/Tribunal. 3. Mrs. Rashmi Kumari, learned counse appearing for the Central Coalfields Limited, has raised no objection with respect to the aforesaid submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4. As prayed for by learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach before the alternative forum if he so wishes.
