ORDER : Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel appearing on behalf of the State. Grievance of the petitioner in the instant application is that application for grant of renewal of Notary License is pending consideration before the respondents No. 1 and 2, but till date no decision has been taken. 2. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that there is no indefeasible right in favour of the petitioner for renewal of license, as a matter of course. 3. Considering the fact that renewal of license is not right or as a matter of course yet the authority have to examine various aspects of the matter and thereafter take decision for renewal. This Court without giving any opinion on the claim of the petitioner directs the authority to take appropriate decision in accordance with law at earliest preferably within a period of 60 days if not already taken. 4. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
