ORDER 1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the contemnor Sunita Singh has today tendered a demand draft in the amount of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) drawn in the name of the Registrar, Supreme Court of India. 2. Permission is granted to deposit the demand draft during the course of the day. 3. Learned counsel submits that the entire balance of Rs. 15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs Only) shall be deposited in the Registry by 15 January, 2019. 4. In view of the above statement, we do not deem it expedient to pursue the contempt proceeding any further. However, in the event of default, permission is granted for moving an application for revival of the contempt petition. 5. The amount upon deposit is permitted to be withdrawn in terms of the previous direction of this Court. 6. The contempt petition and M.A. are, accordingly, disposed of.
