JUDGMENT Sujit Narayan Prasad, J. - The writ petition is under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein direction has been sought for upon the respondent to release the admitted dues in lieu of the work performed by the petitioner for the year 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17 accrued against work order no.169 dated 01.03.2014, 177 dated 01.03.2014, 231 dated 16.09.2015, 120-21 both dated 07.09.2016 and 123 dated 10.09.2016 vide Annexure-1. 2. The contention of the petitioner is that the work in question has been performed and thereafter the bill has been raised for the want of allocation of the amount which has not been paid, therefore this writ petition has been filed. 3. Ms. Srishti Sinha, learned A.C to A.G for the respondents submits that the writ petition may be disposed of directing the authority to take decision in the matter in accordance with law. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and with their consent and without entering into the merit of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to file representation before the respondent no.2-Engineer-in Chief, Water and Sanitation Department within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order giving detailed therein. 5. The concerned respondent is directed to pass an order in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
