JUDGMENT Mr. Raj Shekhar Attri, J. (Oral):- The present petition has been filed under Section 439 read with Section 482 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of interim regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.19 dated 09.03.2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 22 of Narcotics Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (in short, ‘the Act’), at Police Station City-1 Mansa, District Mansa. 2. In compliance of order dated 22.01.2019, learned State counsel has placed on record report of Punjab State AIDS Control Society and has admitted that the petitioner is suffering from HIV/AIDS. 3. This court is of the view that petitioner be allowed to get medically treated. 4. In this view of the matter, petition is allowed. Petitioner is ordered to be released on interim bail for a period of 03 months, which shall be commenced from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing bail/surety surety bonds to the satisfaction of the concerned trial court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate. The petitioner is also directed to surrender before the concerned jail authorities after completion of the said period of his interim bail.
