JUDGMENT : Ramendra Jain, J. Prayer in this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., 1973 has been made for issuance of direction to respondent to keep the proposal of production warrant of petitioner in abeyance and to give him a 7 days' prior notice in any criminal case, particularly cases relating to mob violence and firing at Behbal Kalan and other sacrilege cases to enable the petitioner to have recourse to legal remedies as per law. 2. Notice of motion. 3. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Harpreet Multani, AAG, Punjab has accepted notice on behalf of the respondent-State. Copy of the paper book be supplied to learned State counsel, during the course of the day. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent that petitioner shall be given 7 days' prior notice, in case, he is required for interrogation in the cases mentioned in para No.1 of the petition.
