ORDER 1. Issue notice on IA No.105962 of 2018. 2. We have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties on the importance and urgency for appointing an Ombudsman. We are happy to note that, by consent, the parties have suggested and agreed on the name of Hon'ble Mr. Justice D.K. Jain, former Judge of this Court as Ombudsman. 3. We accordingly appoint Hon'ble Mr. Justice D.K. Jain, former Judge of this Court, as the first Ombudsman under Article 40 of Chapter IX of the Constitution of the BCCI framed by this Court vide order dated 9.8.2018. 4. Hon'Ble Mr. Justice D.K. Jain shall assume charge of the Office as early as possible. 5. Mr. P.S. Narasimha, learned Amicus Curiae may settle all terms relating to the functioning of the newly appointed Ombudsman. 6. Mr. Narasimha, learned Amicus Curiae, has brought to our notice that from the Committee of Administrators for BCCI appointed by this Court in its order dated 30.1.2017, two members namely Mr. Ramachandra Guha and Mr. Vikram Limaye, have resigned. 7. Having regard to the importance of the said Committee of Administrators for administrating the BCCI, we consider it appropriate to appoint Lt. Gen. Ravi Thodge, PVSM, to act as a third member of the aforesaid Committee of Administrators for BCCI. 8. Order accordingly. 9. List these matters on 14.3.2019 at 2 P.M. before the same Special Bench.
