JUDGMENT : Heard Mr. D. Pangging learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. T. Wangmo learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 to 4 and Mr. J. Jini learned counsel representing respondent No. 6 . 2. This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 27.10.2014 passed by the Sub Divisional Officer, whereby, the Kebang /village authority had been constituted for deciding the ownership of ‘Kemi’ River between the petitioners and the private respondents and also the Kebang decision dated 05.11.14 by which decision, Kemi River has been decided by the Kebang to be owned by the private respondent. 3. It is noticed that at annexure 9 of the writ petition, an appeal have been preferred by the petitioners/villagers of Sikatode before the Deputy Commissioner, East Siang District, Pasighat on 26.12.14 against the Kebang decision dated 05.11.14. 4. In that view of the matter, this writ petition is closed leaving the petitioner/appellant to redress this grievances before the Deputy Commissioner, East Siang District, Pasighat against the Kebang decision dated 05.11.14 which is an appellate authority under the Assam Frontier (Administration of Justice) Regulation, 1945 against the decision rendered by kebang/ village authority, for which the petitioner/ appellant and respondent Nos. 5 & 6 shall appear before the Deputy Commissioner, East Siang District, Pasighat on 09.08.2019. 5. As Mr. C. Modi, the learned counsel representing the respondent No. 5 is not present today, Mr. J. Jini, the learned counsel representing the respondent No. 6 as well as Mr. D. Panging, the learned counsel for the petitioner shall inform Mr. C. Modi so as to enable him to inform the respondent No. 5 about the order that has been passed today. 6. Interim order dated 10.02.15 passed in the present writ petition is extended until 09.08.19. This writ petition stands disposed of in terms of above.
